A Wedding and Vacation

So tomorrow I am heading out to Sacramento with my mom and Ivy to be in my sister Kelly’s wedding. We are so happy and excited for her and Marcus. This is such a memorable time for them both! I am one of Kelly’s Maid of Honors (so is my older sister Shannon). I will post pictures later! I just wanted to wish Kelly and Marcus a most wonderful and cherished day! Then on Saturday we are heading to the SF Airport to go to Ackworth, Georgia! We will be there for almost two weeks! I am so excited and in such need of a vacation. We are visiting Courtney’s parents and other relatives! It will really be a great time! They have a boat, jetskies, and a pool. Plus they live by a lake. They are the best in-laws a girl could ask for. They are great hosts and always make me feel very comfortable. They also know how to have a good time. A lot of Courtney’s other family members will be coming to visit as well, they are probably excited to see us but more to meet Ivy Rose! I will post pictures once we get back! So needless to say this week is very busy for me! Just gonna take it one day at a time!

Weekend!

Looking forward to the weekend! The weather is going to be beautiful and we are going to visit some friends.  We are going over to Shane and Brittany’s house on Saturday through the evening, it should be fun! Then Sunday we will head home and chill with the family. I will post some pictures of the weekend next week.

Pretty much every weekend after this we are going to be totally busy. I love to keep busy but then sometimes it is just exhausting. I am so excited to leave for Georgia June 13th. We are going to go visit Courtney’s parents and family. It will be fun in the sun!

Mother's Day

So I had my first Mother’s Day yesterday!! I had a wonderful day and couldn’t had asked for anything more! I first started off my morning by sleeping in (8:30am, yeah, that is sleeping now a days!) then when I woke up I turned to my desk and saw a mamosa and Mother’s Day card right next to me. As I came downstairs I was greeted with a beautiful smile from Ivy and hubby was making me breakfast. After breakfast and a couple more mamosas we went out in the backyard and watched daddy do some gardening! The sun was shining with a slight breeze in the air. Ivy crawled all over and got dirty and played with the hose. After we bathed her and ourselfs we headed to my parents house. By 1:30pm we walked to my parents and had lunch! My dad had a huge spread of all the sandwich fixens. Even down to different varieties of breads. Plus chips, broccoli slaw, and fruit salad. It was so tasty and nice. We, my parents, Courtney , Ivy and myself just sat around drinking mamosas and beer and eating sandwhiches, talking about random stuff.

I had such a great day and was able to spend it with the people I love!
